Dr. Michelle Gillespie is a results-driven executive with more than two decades of leadership experience spanning finance, human resources, operations, compliance, and organizational development. Her career includes extensive work across corporate, government, educational, and small-business environments, where she has built a proven reputation as a transformative leader and trusted organizational advisor.
Known for her strategic vision and hands-on leadership style, Dr. Gillespie has successfully directed HR, accounting, and operational functions for organizations exceeding $25 million in revenue, led multi-state and global teams, and overseen company-wide policy modernization, audit readiness, and systems integration. Her background includes executive roles in Chief of Staff, Human Resources, Finance, and Business Law Compliance—earning consistent recognition for her integrity, accountability, and people-centered leadership approach.
Dr. Gillespie’s expertise is far-reaching, covering governmental accounting standards, DCAA and federal audit compliance, payroll and tax administration, performance management, organizational policy creation, risk mitigation, and full-cycle recruitment—including executive-level placement. She has designed enterprise HR frameworks, implemented multi-entity accounting systems, developed professional training programs, and led organizations through CMMI Level 3 maturity certification and multiple federal and state audits with 100% compliance.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Accounting), a Master of Business Administration (Management & Leadership), a Master of Human Services Counseling (Business), and earned her Doctor of Business Administration (Management specialization) in 2021. Her doctoral research, The Role of Leadership Motivation: Influences by New Generations and Factors Affecting Motivation, is published through ProQuest.
